Indian integrated metal producing company Shyam Metalics and Energy announced that its stainless steel production reached 7,149 tons in April, increasing by 4% compared to the same month a year ago.

The company also reported a 4% year-on-year growth in carbon steel production, reaching 136,372 tons. Meanwhile, specialty alloys production had a year-on-year rise of 32.6%, totaling 19,945 tons. Aluminum foil output grew by 18% year on year to 1,576 tons. Pellet production surged by 106% year on year to 104,148 tons.
