Vietnamese steelmaker Hoa Phat is supplying thousands of metric tons of prestressed steel strands (PC strands) for major infrastructure projects across Vietnam, helping replace imported products and support construction schedules. 

The products are being delivered to projects with strict quality and completion requirements as the country accelerates transport infrastructure development. 

Hoa Phat said that it is the only manufacturer in Vietnam producing PC strands with a fully integrated process based on Italian production technology, from steel billet to finished product. This integrated manufacturing system enables the company to ensure consistent product quality, stable supply, and compliance with demanding technical standards. 

The PC strands have been supplied to several major bridge projects across the country. Hoa Phat said its domestic production supports Vietnam’s infrastructure development while reducing reliance on imported materials.
