HitecVision, an investor in the European energy industry, acquired a 91.4% stake in Norwegian biocarbon supplier Vow Green Metals, which serves metallurgical clients including Outokumpu.

The acquisition supports Vow Green Metals' strategy to build an integrated biocarbon production platform aimed at reducing industrial emissions.

The company was delisted from Euronext Growth Oslo on July 4, with Vardar AS and Skagerak Energipartner AS remaining as minority shareholders.

HitecVision will fund expansion plans, including completing the Hønefoss facility and developing new sites at Viken Park and Eiktyr Industrial Park.

The company targets 200,000 tons of annual biocarbon production by 2030.
