Fujian Tsingtuo Special Steel to upgrade stainless steel bar and wire processing facilities

Fujian Tsingtuo Special Steel planned to invest CNY 60 million to upgrade its existing stainless steel bar and wire processing facilities within its current plant. The optimization project would enhance stainless steel quality to meet growing market demands.

The upgrade included adding sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid pickling processes to the first-phase passivation line, constructing five trolley annealing furnaces and five hood annealing furnaces, including spares, two seven-roller bridge straightening machines, six unwinding bridge straightening machines, three peeling machines, and two shot blasting machines, as well as other supporting infrastructure.

The construction followed the completion and environmentally approved first-phase project and the ongoing acceptance of a technical upgrade project. The overall production capacity of the plant will remain unchanged after the optimization. The construction period is one year.

The second phase of the project has not yet been constructed.
