Egypt launches new incentive program to support steel industry

Egypt’s Ministry of Industry has launched a new incentive package to revive industrial growth, with a focus on strategic steelmakers. The plan offers priority access to competitively priced industrial land, flexible payment terms, loans for working capital and production lines, 24-hour license issuance, and expedited utilities.

The government aims to reduce import dependence, expand domestic production, and position Egypt as a regional steel exporter. This new incentive program gives a series of benefits designed to attract and retain industrial investors.
