The Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board eliminated import customs duties on manganese ores and concentrates under code 2602 00 000 0 through August 31, 2028.

Vahagn Ghazaryan, Director of the Department for Customs Tariff and Non-Tariff Regulation, said that these subject products are essential raw materials for producing manganese alloys used as a deoxidizer and an alloying addition for steel production.

Eliminating the tariffs aims to support regional metal producers by boosting facility utilization, encouraging high-margin output, and strengthening internal and foreign market competitiveness.

The decision becomes effective ten days following official publication.
