A A A
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a €13.7 million loan to Alumil Misr, the Egyptian subsidiary of Greece's ALUMIL, to enhance its manufacturing capabilities.

The funding will finance a new aluminium extrusion line at the company's plant in Cairo's Polaris Industrial Zone. This expansion will significantly increase production capacity, improve operational efficiency, and support the company’s vertical integration strategy.

Positioned near the Suez Canal, the upgraded plant will serve as a strategic export hub for advanced aluminium systems to Africa and the Middle East.

The EBRD stated that the investment aims to strengthen local manufacturing and boost regional industrial competitiveness.
