Canada launches AD expiry review investigation on OCTG from 8 countries

5 Dec 2025 15:55 reported by Judy Lin

A A A
On December 1, 2025, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced that it had launched an anti-dumping (AD) expiry review on certain oil country tubular goods (OCTG) originating or exported from eight countries, including Taiwan, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam. The subject products from South Korean Hyundai Steel Company and Turkish Borusan Mannesmann Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. are excluded.

Therefore, as a result of the expiry review from CITT, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) also launched an expiry review investigation to determine whether the expiry of the AD order is likely to result in continuation or resumption of dumping of the subject goods.

The CBSA will issue the final determination no later than April 30, 2026, and make the Statement of Reasons by May 15, 2026.
