Baosteel, China’s leading steelmaker, released its domestic flat rolled product pricing for July 2026 on June 10, concluding a consecutive six-month streak of price hikes.

The manufacturer decided to keep the baseline prices unchanged for the majority of its product items, including hot-rolled coils, cold-rolled coils, heavy plates, pickled steel, galvanizing products, color-coated sheets, non-oriented electrical steel, tubes, wire rods, and bars.

The only exception to this steady pricing strategy is grain-oriented electrical steel. Baosteel announced an increase of CNY 300 per ton for this specific category.

All adjustments apply to the base rates before taxes and take effect starting from the announcement date.
