On November 6, 2025, the Ministry of Economy of Argentina announced that it had launched a sunset review of an anti-dumping (AD) order and an inquiry into a change of circumstances on imported aluminum tubes from China. 

The subject products are aluminum tubes without alloy or aluminum alloys of 3xxx or 6xxx series with an outside diameter less than or equal to 130mm, even presented in coil. But the precision drawn tubing (PDT) for the 3xxx series is not included.

The reviews were initiated based on the request from the domestic producer, Aluminium Manufacturers Express SA.  

The investigation period is from July 2024 to June 2025, while the damage investigation period is from January 2022 to June 2025. 

The HS codes for the subject products are 7608.10.00 and 7608.20.90. During the investigation period, the AD measures are suspended.

The interested parties could submit opinions and evidence within 30 days to answer the questionnaires.

Argentina imposed a 75.52% AD duty on the subject products from China and a 16.46% on products from Brazil on November 6, 2020.
