ArcelorMittal supplies low-carbon steel to Renault for EV production

ArcelorMittal has announced a partnership with Renault Group to supply low-carbon steel for electric vehicle production, advancing decarbonization across the automotive supply chain.

The new Usibor® 1500 XCarb® steel has been applied to multiple structural components, maintaining strength and safety while reducing carbon footprint. 

The move supports Renault’s emissions targets and enhances vehicle lightweighting and EV performance.
