Al Gharbia Pipe Company (AGPC), an Abu Dhabi producer of longitudinally submerged arc welded (LSAW), received the Industry 4.0 Digital Leader certification from the UAE's Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT).

The recognition confirms AGPC's leadership in adopting advanced digital technologies such as AI and machine learning to improve operations. The company's Manufacturing Execution System (MES) 4.0 now connects all plant processes for real-time monitoring and reporting.

CEO Noritsugu Mifune said that the certification positions AGPC as the region's most technologically advanced LSAW pipe manufacturer and contributes to the UAE's national industrial strategy, "Operation 300 Billion."
