Australia imposes AD & CVD on China’s aluminum extrusions

On September 22, 2023, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission said in an announcement that the Minister for Industry and Science has accepted the Commissioner’s recommendations on the review of the anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) measures on aluminum extrusions from China, deciding to impose AD and CVD on subject goods, with an effective fixed rate of interim dumping duty and interim countervailing duty from 0% to 42.9%.

The products involved are under HS codes 7604.10.00.06, 7604.21.00.07, 7604.21.00.08, 7604.29.00.09, 7604.29.00.10, 7608.10.00.09, 7608.20.00.10, 7610.10.00.12, and 7610.90.00.13.

This measure took effect from the date of the announcement.
