Yusco & Tang Eng to benefit from stable nickel market

18 May 2022 17:08 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The London Metal Exchange (LME) has strengthened the market monitoring to prevent a repeated nickel price's surge and plunge. Due to this, the nickel market has become stable and stainless steel prices will be more predictable, which will benefit Taiwan’s upstream stainless steel mills, Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd., and Walsin Lihwa.

For the stainless steel market, a stable operating environment is important, involving a range from raw material prices to the end-product market. The stable nickel price and the transparent stainless steel market are beneficial to the whole market.
