Taiwan’s AD duties on imported carbon steel plates & galvanized steel products to expire in Aug 2021

According to Taiwan’s Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance, Taiwan had imposed anti-dumping (AD) duties on carbon steel plates from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, South Korea, and Ukraine, as well as certain flat-rolled steel products plated or coated with zinc or zinc-alloys from China and South Korea since August 22, 2016, for a valid period of five years.

The two cases will expire on August 21, 2021. Taiwan’s Ministry of Finance announced that the representatives of the relevant domestic industry could submit applications for the continuation of the imposition before February 21 if it is necessary.
