EU to impose provisional AD duty China’s aluminum extrusions

According to the result of an anti-dumping (AD) investigation launched in February this year, the European Commission announced on September 22, 2020 that it will impose a provisional AD duty on aluminum extrusions originating in China.

The provisional AD duty was scheduled to be implemented before October 15, and the related investigations will be completed in April 2021.

The file from European Commission showed that the duty for Guangdong Haomei New Materials Co., Ltd. and Guangdong King Metal Light Alloy Technology Co., Ltd. was set at 30.4%, Press Metal International Ltd. and Press Metal International Technology Ltd. were at 38.2%, and other co-operators will be levied 34.9%. All other companies were subject to a 48% duty.
