Malaysia initiates AD investigation on aluminum & zinc coated flat steel products from 3 countries

In response to an application from a domestic Malaysian company, NS Bluescope Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) issued an announcement that it decided to initiate anti-dumping investigations on flat-rolled products of non-alloy steel plated or coated with aluminum and zinc originating in or imported from China, South Korea and Vietnam on March 13th, 2020.
The products involved were under HS codes and ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN) 7210.61.1100, 7210.61.1200, 7210.61.1900, 7210.61.9100, 7210.61.9200, 7210.61.9900, 7212.50.2300, 7212.50.2490, 7212.50.2910 and 7212.50.2990.
The stakeholders should collect the questionnaire from the MITI within 15 days from the date of this announcement and submit the questionnaire and other materials to the MITI by mail, fax or email within 30 days from the date of this announcement.
