India to impose temporary AD duty on coated flat products from 3 countries

The Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that it will impose a temporary anti-dumping (AD) duty on the imports of aluminum and zinc coated flat products from China, South Korea and Vietnam. The duty rate ranged between US$28.67-199.53/ton.

The investigation was launched on April 2nd based on the petition submitted by JSW Steel Coated Products Limited. The period of investigation covered from October 1st, 2017 to September 30th, 2018.

The AD duty will enter into force in July 15th, 2019.
