Tubacex, a manufacturer of stainless steel and high-quality alloyed seamless tubes in Spain, has secured a EUR 40 million contract with Petrobras, the nation-al oil and gas company of Brazil, to supply premium corrosion-resistant alloy OCTG solutions for offshore gas extraction.

The deal includes casing, tubing, premium connections, and related services such as logistics, inventory management, and technical assistance.

Aligned with Petrobras’ 2025-2029 strategic plan, the contract strengthens Tu-bacex’s position as a major energy sector supplier, supporting high-productivity pre-salt projects, including expansion plans in the Búzios and Mero fields.
