SMS group, a German equipment manufacturer, announced that the Chinese steel company Fujian Kebao Metal Products Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Fujian Sanbao Group) has ordered two tinplate continuous annealing lines.

The equipment will increase the company's annual production capacity by 800,000 tons and is scheduled for commissioning in mid-2026.

The machines are designed for high-precision and high-speed production of tinplate strips with thicknesses of 0.12-0.55mm and widths of 700-1,300mm at a maximum process speed of 750 meters per minute.
