As one of the most important stainless steel mills in China, Yongjin Group, after setting up a single rolling mill in Vietnam, will start construction of the first phase of a 260,000-tonne-per-year precision stainless steel sheet and strip mill in Thailand in July.

Although there is still some time to go before the start of production, Taiwan's industry has already planned to start the preparation for Yongjin's new plant in Southeast Asia.

The project recently received Thailand's overseas investment project filing permit and an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) certificate. The mill is ready to start construction, which is expected to be completed and put into operation in two years.
