US maintains AD measure on China’s steel wire garment hangers

22 Jan 2025 14:52 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
On January 17, 2025, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) voted and made an affirmative final determination of the third anti-dumping (AD) sunset review on steel wire garment hangers from China, ruling that the revocation of the existing AD duty order on the subject products from China would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.

Therefore, the current AD duty order on imports of the above-mentioned products from China will continue to be effective.

The third AD sunset review was instituted on July 1, 2024, and the final result of the expedited third AD sunset review was announced on November 12 of the same year.
