Special Metric Materials (SMM), an independent stockist of metric and ISO stainless steel piping systems based in Manchester, has doubled its operating space by opening a new 50,000 sq ft facility in Audenshaw.

SMM expanded after operating a sister company for just three years. Managing director Mark Hartley said the new facility supports growth plans, streamlines operations and improves customer service while providing a better working environment for staff. He stressed that the move aims to set new standards in the industry and invest in team capabilities to achieve service excellence.
