Taiwan’s stainless steel scrap imports & exports drop in Oct, with prices up

In October this year, Taiwan's stainless steel scrap import and export volume both decreased.

Among them, imports fell to 13,475 tons, down by 10.2% compared to the previous month, hitting a new low for this year. Exports slid by nearly 50% month on month to 3,577 tons.

At the same time, prices have rebounded across the board, with the import price rising to more than NT$42,000/ton and the export price soaring to nearly NT$49,700/ton.
