On November 1, 2024, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) instituted the third sunset review of anti-dumping (AD) duty on steel nails from China to see whether revoking the existing AD and CVD orders on the subject products from China would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry.

On November 4, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced the launch of the third AD sunset review on the subject products from China.

The interested parties should submit their entry of appearance to the USDOC within ten days from the date of this announcement. They should file their responses to the USITC on or before the deadline of December 2, 2024, and the comments on the adequacy of responses should be filed by January 2, 2025.
