Brazil's steel scrap exports soar in Jun m-o-m & y-o-y

According to the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC), Brazil exported roughly 68,000 tons of steel scrap in June, increasing by about 15,000 tons from last month and soaring by 48.9% yearly. The export value hiked by 26.9% from the previous month and 39.3% yearly to US$26.4 million.

Among them, India was the main destination for the past six months, accounting for 59% of total shipments, followed by Bangladesh, accounting for 14%, and Belgium, accounting for 4.3%.
