South Korea extends AD duties on Japanese stainless steel plates for second time

It was reported that on July 14, 2020, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance (MOSF) of South Korea announced to extend the anti-dumping duties on imported stainless steel plates originating in Japan for the second time, with a validity period of three years.

On April 29, 2010, South Korea initiated an anti-dumping investigation against stainless steel plates originating in Japan. On July 15, 2019, South Korea initiated the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation against stainless steel plates originating in Japan.

On March 19, 2020, the Korea Trade Commission (KTC) made a final ruling and proposed to extend the anti-dumping duties of the products involved.
