A A A
According to the report, Bosnian only aluminum smelter, Aluminij, was closed due to liabilities.

Aluminij is one of the largest exporters in Bosnia. However, due to the high debt of the power plant, the liabilities accumulated to 380 million Bosnian marka. Besides, because of the huge amount of arrears, the government refused to provide electricity subsidies to Aluminij.

Currently, Aluminij is still seeking partners and hopes to resume production through acquisitions and restructuring.
