Indian SAIL offers special steel for indigenous artillery gun

It was reported that the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) provided certain special quality forging steel for "Dhanush", the primary indigenous and biggest artillery gun in India.
SAIL was an Indian state-owned steel producer with headquarter in New Delhi. It was possessed and operated by Indian government.
The special steel materials for manufacturing artillery gun were from SAIL-Alloy Steels Plant at Durgapur. The first batch of the Dhanush guns was designed and produced by the Jabalpur Gun Factory and already delivered to Indian Army recently.
SAIL produced steel for meeting Indian defense project widely and it was the necessary role for satisfying the requirement to reinforce shield systems. It was calculated that SAIL’s hot metal, crude steel, saleable steel and sales all grew and had an excellent performance with 8% to 14% during the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2019.
