Triland Metals expects cathode copper short supply to reach 75,000 tons in 2010

Triland Metals said the global cathode copper will be in shortage of 75,000 tons in 2010 because of the strong demand from China.
The company expects the average price of 3 month future copper will reach US$7,700 to 8,200/ ton, mainly due to dollar weakness.
In addition, the company expects the global annual average price of primary aluminum in 2010 to reach US$2,000 to 2,300/ton. In 2009, an oversupply of primary aluminum capacity was 1.8 million tons
