Global price of scrap, pig iron continue to rise

The global prices of scrap and pig iron have continued to rise recently.
The price of H1 scrap has reached around C&F US$600/ton, as the price for pig iron is at C&F US$700/ton. Besides, the H1 scrap price from the USA to South Korea has reached as high as C&F US$617/ton. The import price of mixed H1 and H2 scrap (80:20) to Turkey is around C&F US$600/ton, and the quotation has even reached C&F US$610/ton.
South Korea’s export price of H2 scrap to Japan is at C&F US$600/ton, and Japan to Taiwan’s price of H2 scrap is around C&F US$620/ton.
